Please Hold.

My missions are on hold until I finish my summer reading, Tess of the D'urbervilles. The book is mostly dull. I wouldn't call myself optimistic but Tess is quite the defeatist! Honestly, she really ought to buck up. But I suppose she cannot, because she is just a lowly country book character.

I'm on page 100 out of about 400. And I return to school the Monday after next. Did I mention there are questions and essays involved? I would almost rather be doing math. Almost. (I've made peace with Math...I just haven't got the brain for it)

In the mean time, I don't want to leave you completely bored. Here are some awesometastic little art pieces of mine. Alright, awesometastic is an exaggeration...but I'm fairly pleased with them.

This is one of a friend. I really like this one except for the overuse of the dodge on parts of the hair and the shape of the crown...but I'm proud of myself for the sky. Moon painted all by mahself :3

Did this in sumo paint about a week ago. I don't particularly love the lips, and the colouring on the nose looks a bit sloppy...but I'm overall pleased with it.
"He Loves Me Not"

This one still needs a bit o' tweaking...I may redo it all together, because it was my first time to digitally colour something with photoshop, and I was a newb. I like parts of it, but it's a bit messy.

I like the idea of the sketch, too.

Heck, I think I'll even redo the sketch. I can do better. *Adds to list of projects*

Also, I suppose you are wondering why you haven't seen any alliterations as of yet.
Just you wait and see.

Missions

My last post was completely vague and a bit embarassing to look back on.

My regular speech sounds much more colloquial and much less formal.
I swear I am a fun person. Anywho, I realized that people who have blogs actually put the interesting things they do.

Well I often prefer to do nothing. Be mellow. Not engage myself. I have many hobbies of course, but still.

Then I decided I need some things to do so this blog will actually be reading. And so we have the missions. I will start with five for now. Perhaps when I actually come by some money, they will be more exciting.

1. I will write a song. I will either take an unfinished one and perfect it, or start from scratch. I will make a finished product song.
2. I will drink the 64 required ounces of water a day and record how many times I go to the bathroom.
3. I will give a have a nice day card to a random stranger while shopping.
4. I will write a short story in spanish.
5. I will read a 300 page novel in one sitting. (Sounds silly to bookworms, yes, but my frequent lapses into la-la land make it nearly impossible. And it's a shame too, because I like to read.)

Jumping on this bandwagon (rickety wheels perhaps?)

I have a blog.

I must repeat this sentence in my head multiple times before I believe it.

There is a good chance I will be the only person to ever lay eyes upon this humble abode--Alliteration Alley, that is.

I may link it to a few close friends. Ones that won't verbally vandalize or berate this poor thing.

In a few words--I am Christina. If you have questions, ask.

Have a peachy day.
